Data Protection

Dear visitors of our internet portal. Welcome to our site. The purpose of the following data protection regulations is to provide you with information about how we handle the collection, usage and disclosure of personal data. The person responsible for this website is Jan Weinert.

General handling of your personal data

Protection of your privacy is very important to us. We have therefore, on principle, designed our website in a way that it can be used anonymously. We use the information we collect and save during your visit of our web pages exclusively for internal purposes and to improve the design of our web pages. An exception is when it is necessary to defend against attacks that constitute criminal offences or which compromise the function of our website. For this purpose only, we register information such as the IP address of your computer and store it as a safety precaution in terms of Section 100, Para. 1 TKG (Telecommunications Act) for a period of four weeks.

Usage data

When you visit our web pages, usage data is temporarily stored as a log on our web server for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our websites. This data record consists of:

– the page from which the file was called,
– the name of the file,
– the date and time of the request,
– the transferred data volume,
– the access status (file transferred, file not found),
– the description of the type of the web browser that was used,
– the IP address of the requesting computer.

We use this information to make accessing our website possible, to control and manage our systems and to improve the design of our websites. We will erase the IP address after 12 weeks. The collected data will therefore be stored anonymised according to the German Teleservices Act (TMG). Compiling personal user profiles is therefore impossible. Data about people or their individual behavior are not collected at this.

Cookies are small files that are stored on the visitor’s hard drive. They make it possible to store data for a specific period of time and to identify the visitor’s computer. In order to control your visit on our site, we only use so-called session cookies which will be automatically deleted when you close your browser. There is therefore no permanent data storage taking place on your computer. You can set up your browser to notify you about where the cookies are placed.
